A convicted rapist has been sentenced to 10 years at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for possession of heroin with a street value of £500,000 and for assault. Larry Doyle (29), who was jailed for seven years in 1991 for rape, was arrested on December 22nd 2000 with a bag containing 11-/2kg of heroin. The court also heard that on December 12th 2000 he attacked a woman walking past Donnybrook Tennis Club.
