A young man is in a critical condition in Northern Ireland after an assault early this morning.
The 18-year-old man was assaulted in the Brookefield Estate in Banbridge, Co Down just after 12.a.m.
He was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital where his injuries were described as critical. The RUC has appealed for witnesses.
