Brothers charged with threat to kill

TWO Limerick brothers have appeared in court on charges including threatening to kill a man in the city last week.

TWO Limerick brothers have appeared in court on charges including threatening to kill a man in the city last week.

Kieran Collopy (34) and his brother Damian (20), both of St Ita’s Street, St Mary’s Park, Limerick, appeared in Limerick District Court yesterday.

Both are charged with threatening to kill Willie Moran at St Senan’s Street, St Mary’s Park, on April 14th last, and with trespassing on that date. Kieran Collopy is also charged with assaulting Mr Moran.

Judge John O’Neill remanded both in custody until tomorrow when they will appear before the court again.
