An 18-year-old soldier has died following a shooting inside a British army camp in the North

An 18-year-old soldier has died following a shooting inside a British army camp in the North. A legally held firearm was found beside the victim's body in Drumadd barracks, Armagh city, on Monday evening.

Ranger Paul Robert Cochrane from Belfast died as a result of a gunshot wound, but a crime was not suspected, according to an RUC spokesman. He had been serving with the first battalion of the Royal Irish Regiment based at Drumadd.
