United Nations - The UN Secretary General, Mr Kofi Annan, insisted yesterday that the murderers of three UN staff killed in Kosovo and Burundi be brought to justice. The UN was in mourning for "irreplaceable colleagues", Mr Annan said in a statement.

"We mourn Valentin Krumov of Bulgaria, who was killed in Kosovo on the day he reported for duty. We mourn Luis Zuniga of Chile and another colleague who were killed in an ambush in Burundi. All three made the ultimate sacrifice in the cause of peace," he said.
