A bomb has exploded in Pakistan today wounding at least 14 people, including a three-year-old child.
The explosion occurred in the Rang Mahal neighbourhood of Lahore, the capital of eastern Punjab province.
The bomb was apparently tied to a motorcycle. No group has claimed responsibility and police have cordoned off the area.
"Two of the victims are in a critical condition," said Dr Azhar Massood, a doctor at the state-run hospital.
"The explosion shattered glass and caused a stampede," witnesses said.
In recent months, there have been a series of bomb explosions in Pakistan, killing and wounding scores of people. So far police have failed to arrest the culprits of any of the explosions.
There have been at least five bomb explosions in various parts of Pakistan in August alone.
