A 36-year-old man today denied explosives charges arising out of the discovery of bombs and bomb making material in a flat in a loyalist area of Belfast earlier this year.
Mr Gary Edward Taylor, of Mount Vernon Lane in the city, was charged at Belfast Magistrate's Court of possessing bomb-making materials and explosives with intent to endanger life.
In February two pipe bombs, two timers, an improvised bomb and home-made explosives were found in a flat in Mount Vernon in north Belfast.
A detective told the court that when charged the accused replied: "No".
Mr Taylor was remanded in custody.
