A Dublin widow has been remanded on continuing bail for sentence after a jury found her guilty of stealing a black leather jacket from a shop.

Linda Lee (34), a mother of two, from Seabury Park, Malahide, stole the jacket worth £150 from Elegance Fashion, Bridge Street, Balbriggan on October 5th, 1996.

The jury took one hour to reach a verdict after a two-day hearing at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Judge Dominic Lynch adjourned the sentence until December 14th.
