A 46 year old man was remanded on continuing bail at Ballina District Court yesterday, on 44 charges of rape, indecent and sexual assault on a girl now aged 18. The offences are alleged to have been committed between 1991 and 1995.
Evidence of an additional charge of rape was given by Det Sgt John McCormack against the accused, on whom the book of evidence was served.
