Vienna - Austrian Chancellor Mr Viktor Klima said yesterday his country's neutrality made it impossible for it to support NATO military strikes. "The Austrian constitutional position is clear. It envisages neutrality," he said in an interview with Der Standard newspaper.

The only exceptions were operations backed by formal decisions of the UN, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe or the EU.
