Armagh senior football manager Joe Kernan was today named Philips Manager of the Month for August.
He successfully steered the county to a place in this month's All-Ireland final following a one point victory over Dublin in the semis.
Meanwhile, a number of inter-county stars including Anthony Tohill (Derry), Philip Clifford, Brendan Jer O'Sullivan (both Cork) and Dessie Dolan (Westmeath) will contest the MBNA Kick Fada which takes place this Saturday, September 14th, at 1 p.m. at St. Thomas' in Bray.
