The €62 million National Aquatic Centre will be finished on schedule early next year, the company responsible for its development said today.
Dublin Waterworld Ltd, which allowed journalists tour the site of the centre today, says the facility will attract up to one million visitors each year after it opens.
Among a range of facilities, the centre will feature a 50-metre Olympic-sized swimming pool and will host the Special Olympic World Games in the summer.
