A new block of 98 apartments in Dublin was completely sold out yesterday at prices between £165,000 and £350,000 per unit. Queues of people hoping to purchase apartments in the docklands area of the city formed at around 1 a.m. in the hope of obtaining one of the 98 tickets being handed out by the selling agent, Douglas Newman Good.
Mr Keith Lowe, a partner with Douglas Newman Good, said that two-thirds of the 98 units had been sold by early afternoon. The remainder were sold by close of business.
Mr Lowe said that the majority of the purchasers were investors who would be able to avail of relief on rental income.
