Kevin Keegan kept faith with his expensive strike partnership of Nicolas Anelka and Robbie Fowler for Manchester City's Good Friday visit to White Hart Lane.

The City boss substituted both strikers during last weekend's goalless draw at home to Middlesbrough and had hinted he might give £5million man Jon Macken his first start. Keegan was forced to make one change as Eyal Berkovic missed out with a groin strain and skipper Ali Benarbia returned.

Spurs boss Glenn Hoddle named the same team which started in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Leeds, but striker Steffen Iversen - out since the beginning of February with a back problem - was on the bench.

Tottenham: Keller, Carr, Taricco, King, Gardner, Anderton, Bunjevcevic, Poyet, Davies, Sheringham, Keane. Subs: Sullivan, Perry, Iversen, Acimovic, Toda.

Man City: Schmeichel, Sommeil, Jensen, Distin, Dunne, Benarbia, Foe, Wright-Phillips, Barton, Fowler, Anelka. Subs: Nash, Jihai, Horlock, Macken, Goater.

Referee: M Riley
