Some £60,000 worth of cocaine was seized by gardai and customs officials in two separate operations at the weekend.A foreign national in his 20s was arrested at Parnell Square, Dublin, on Saturday night in a joint-operation between a local Garda drugs unit based at Store Street Station and customs officers from Shannon Airport. The man, who had £40,000 worth of cocaine in his possession, was being questioned last night under the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996.In a separate operation, two men and a woman were arrested when £20,000 of cocaine was seized in Inchicore by the same unit. All three people were charged and are due to appear in court this week.
