Two people injured seriously when a tree fell on a mini bus in Castleknock, Dublin, on Sunday night were described yesterday as stable by St James's hospital. Their injuries are not life threatening. The other occupants of the mini bus were taken to the James Connolly Memorial hospital, and were later released.

Meanwhile, a man killed in Co Wicklow at lunch time on Sunday has been named. He was Mr Sean Cullen (40), from Dunlavin, Co Wicklow, and he was the driver of a jeep which was in collision with a car at Dunlavin.
