The restoration of 18th century walled gardens at Carbury, Co Kildare, and Rathfarnham, Co Dublin and the upgrading of facilities at gardens in Ashford, Co Wicklow, are among the projects being aided by an EU grant of £1.1 million, the Minister for Tourism, Mr Kenny announced yesterday.
