Burren visit by Spielberg:Director Steven Spielberg and his wife, Kate Capshaw, have been soaking up the tranquillity of the Burren on a retreat there this week.
The couple took part in a spiritual tour of the area hosted by writer and poet David Whyte. The retreat is based on Whyte’s latest book, The Three Marriages: Reimagining Work, Self and Relationship. The tour involves plenty of hiking and contemplation, but the Spielbergs were spotted enjoying a quiet beverage at Ó Loclainn’s renowned whiskey pub in Ballyvaughan and an leisurely dinner in the company of their host at the gourmet Gregans Castle Hotel.
