Terenure: from €1.45mThe first phase of four-bedroom houses in a high-end development hit the market this week, writes Kate McMorrow
Fortfield Square in Terenure is the venue of a new launch by Jackie Greene Construction, with four-bedroom houses and one, two and three-bedroom apartments on offer.
Sherry FitzGerald New Homes will be opening showhouses for the first time today at noon for the four-bedroom houses. Potential apartment buyers are invited to register their interest in the apartments, prior to viewing later in the season.
A total of 100 apartments and 40 three-storey houses are on offer at Fortfield Square, which has a good standard fit-out and quality finish, in keeping with the upmarket location.
The four-bedroom houses of 179-191sq m (1,930-2,050sq ft) start at €1.45 million. Prices for the apartments are not yet firmed up. One-bed apartments have 42sq m (450sq ft) of space, two-beds are 70sq m (750sq ft) and just one three-bedroom apartment measures 94sq m (1,010sq ft).
The development is approached via a tree-lined avenue. Open spaces with a water feature, walkways, greens and planting make a good first impression.
Houses are redbrick and render, with granite sills and large timber-framed windows. Standard features include classic-look fireplaces and custom-made kitchens with integrated appliances. The utility comes with fitted units, washing machine and dryer. All bathrooms have good standard sanitary ware and are extensively tiled. Wardrobes are included in all bedrooms.
Each house is pre-wired for a home cinema and surround sound system, and downlighters are installed throughout the main reception areas. Completions are scheduled from this summer onwards.
