AFTER 18 months of downsizing and cutbacks, finally we are seeing some hiring again in the property business. Savills has just announced six new appointments to its residential team, spread across its offices in Molesworth Street, Blackrock and Clontarf.

The appointments include Greg Coffey, who previously worked with Vincent Finnegan and Hooke McDonald; Darragh Brady, who previously founded and ran his own web and graphic design agency; David McGuinness who is returning to Savills having spent 18 months working as a sole trader specialising in residential sales in various locations for a small group of clients; Linda Picard, formerly with estate agents O’Farrell Cleere in Malahide and Rita Carey, who rejoins Savills having previously worked for four years in the company and has experience in the new homes area.

Linda Forsyth has been appointed marketing and sales co-ordinator for the residential division at Savills.

She previously worked with Sherry FitzGerald and with O’Farrell Cleere.
