DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL

Location: Former Premier Dairies site, Finglas Road, Dublin 11. Proposed development: The development comprises general site clearance and construction of a five-storey residential apartment building comprising 60 apartments with 90 basement car-parking spaces. Location: "The Moorings", Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4. Proposed development: Permission is sought for the demolition of existing bungalow and the construction of a four-storey block containing 18 two-bedroom and two three-bedroom apartments with basement car-parking for 25 cars. Applicant: O'Malley Homes and Developments Limited.

Location: Lands known as Scully's Field between Ramleh Park and the river Dodder and bounded by Strand Terrace, Milltown to the west. Proposed development: Permission is sought for a new riverside public open space including pedestrian bridge across the river Dodder and 92 apartments. Location: 2-8 Richmond Avenue and 65 Fairview Strand, Fairview, Dublin 3. DECISION TO GRANT

Location: Lands north of Poppintree Industrial Estate, bounded by St Margaret's Road to the north, Jamestown Road to the west, Balbutcher land to the south, Dublin 11. Proposed development: Application for a seven-year planning permission for the development of approximately 16.52 hectares. The development will consist of the construction of 1,040 residential units to comprise 349 two, three and four-bedroom houses, 293 one, two and three-bedroom duplex units, 398 one, two and three-bedroom apartments in buildings ranging in height from two to five storeys; 1,344 car-parking spaces, the construction of 593.5 sq m (6,388 sq ft) of local shopping and health / community facilities. SOUTH DUBLIN

Location: Former Johnson & Johnson site, Old Belgard Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24. Proposed development: Demolish existing industrial and office premises, boundary wall and railing and construct a discount foodstore comprising of a single-storey structure, new boundary treatments and associated site development works with 153 car-parking spaces. Location: Southern side of Scholarstown Road, bounded on the eastern side by Stocking Lane, and southern side by Ballyboden Water Works, Ballyboden, Dublin 16. Proposed development: Development to comprise 610 residential units, a purpose-built crèche, gymnasium/swimming pool and a public house/restaurant all on a site approximately 9.7 hectares (24 acres). Location: Fortunestown Lane, Saggart, Co Dublin. FINGAL

Location: Santry Demesne, Santry, Dublin 9. Proposed development: Erect a two-storey over basement health and fitness centre on part of lands previously approved for office development (blocks U, V, W & B1) under Ref F98A/1328 and PLO6F.112730. The building comprises a gym, aerobic studio, swimming pool and ancillary accommodation. Applicant: Woodford Developments Limited.

Location: 2 Castle Terrace, Dublin Road, Malahide, Co Dublin. Proposed development: Change of use from residential to officeuse of a protected structure. Demolish existing single storey structure to rear of same and existing toilet at first floor level and construct a new single storey structure to the rear of same comprising dining area, kitchen area, toilets and lecture room, also a surface car park and associated site works. DECISION TO REFUSE

Location: The Malting House Inn, Holmpatrick, Skerries, Co Dublin. Proposed development: Erect four two-bedroom apartments in one two-storey extension to rear. Applicant: Orticane Limited.

Location: Stockhole/Cloghran/Toberbuny and Dardistown, Co Dublin. Proposed development: Permanent continuance of use and also to maintain development consisting of existing ground level car-parking complex with 10,400 parking spaces known as Eastlands and Dardistown which is subject to planning permissions Reg Ref F00A/0012, Reg Ref F00A/0683, Reg Ref F00A/1386 and Reg Ref F01A/0840; installation of a new underground cellular surface water storage system (storm cells) to serve the site and the entire Kealys Stream Catchment upstream of the M1 motorway, additional drains and storage ponds, surfacing of car park in porous bituminous macadam material; maintenance and continuance of the use of the link road adjacent to the M1 motorway between the Eastlands and Daridistown sections of the car-parking complex and also the ancillary structures on site including lighting, bus shelters, boundary fencing and landscaping treatment. DÚN LAOGHAIRE-RATHDOWN

Location: Nerano Road, Dalkey, Co Dublin. Proposed development: Demolish existing coach house and replace with a two-storey building containing two apartments together with new vehicular entrance and ancillary site development works. Applicant: Mr E Coleman.

Location: Glenomena Student Residence Complex, Belfield Campus, adjacent to Fosters Avenue, Dublin 4. Proposed development: Permission to extend the existing "Glenomena" student residence to provide for two extra apartment blocks to accommodate 28 six-bedroom apartments incorporating 168 en suite student bedrooms in total.
