A further round of price cuts at Wyckham Point in Dublin 16 means that two-bedroom units in the scheme are now at €339,000, around 40 per cent down from 2006 when similar apartments were sold at €540,000.

It’s an attractive well-located scheme midway between Dundrum Town Centre and the M50, apartment blocks curving around three acres of communal gardens that include a small lake. There’s a large gym for residents and a concierge service.

The apartments are larger than average with two-bedroom units ranging from 74-93sq m (800-1,000sq ft) and three-bedroom apartments between 93-186sq m (1,000-2,000sq ft).
