Daytime Raheny: A city village on the edge of St Anne's Park which does well in the Tidy Districts competition. The park's rose garden is magnificent. Also coastal walks, Bull Island, sailing at Clontarf, a choice of two golf courses and GAA. For lunch, try The Watermill or Station House.

After dark: Not much night life here apart from local pubs -- Raheny residents usually go into town for a night out. The Watermill has a good evening restaurant.

Issues: Commuters parking all day on the avenues around the DART is a bone of contention with residents.
