High-spec finish ends apartment phase

Hamilton Osborne King is now launching the final apartment phase of this development, which is located off the Blackglen Road close to Lamb Doyle's pub. Twenty two-beds and four three-bed units are on offer.

Prices start at €390,000 for two-bedroom apartments of 79-96sq m (796-1,038sq ft). Three-bedroom apartments of 110sq m (1,182sq ft) cost from €475,000. All are a good size and some have twin balconies.

As usual with Park Developments, Ticknock Hill's specification sets a standard for others to follow. The landscaping sets the tone, with planted banks lining the entrance and extending along the sloping main avenue. Large Rationel Vindeur windows make the most of mountain and city views. Inside, the fit-out is impressive, with fashionable cream and white Shaker kitchens with appliances, including oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. Unusual panelled splashbacks are fitted.

Bathrooms and en suites come with extensive wall and floor tiling, screens, heated towel rails and Grohe shower valves with a pressure pump system. Internal doors are beech with brushed aluminium handles. Wardrobes are included as per show units.

Heating is natural gas and a video-controlled security system is in operation. Prospective buyers will approve of the large sit-out balconies and terraces. One designated surface car-parking space goes with each apartment. Among recent developments by Park are Hanover Quay, Carrickmines Wood and Kelston in Foxrock and Mount Saint Anne's in Milltown.

Apartments in this penultimate phase will be ready to move into by the end of the year, according to the selling agent.

Ten three-bedroom houses will go on the market early in 2006, marking the end of construction at the Ticknock scheme.
