Last week's feature on the restoration of Sunlight Chambers in Parliament Street failed to mention that the painstaking restoration of the decorative friezes was carried out by Eileen O'Leary of the Leinster Studios, who worked with conservation architect and historic building consultant David Slattery and exterior restoration contractor Povall Flood & Wilson. Despite the century of wear and tear - and thundering traffic - Ms O'Leary found that, except for a few chips and two broken heads, the painted terracotta figures were mostly intact.
