In Foxrock, Dublin 18, Daphne L. Kaye & Associates secured a strong price of £1.36 million for, Aston, a newly-built six-bedroom detached house at Brighton Hall, off Brighton Road. Standing on 0.75 acres, the house has 4,250 sq ft of accommodation. Six parties competed at the auction, where the bidding opened at £750,000.

A three-bedroom house at 21 Arkle Square, The Chase, Leopardstown, Co Dublin, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £261,000.

A duplex three-bedroom apartment at 110 The Elms, off Mount Merrion Avenue, was sold prior to auction for a price believed to be over £300,000 by Jackson-Stops McCabe.

Also in Blackrock, 22 Seafield Road, a four-bedroom semi, was withdrawn at £200,000 by Lisney, which sold it later for a higher price.

A single-storey over garden level four-bedroom period house, Devon Lodge, at 11 Brighton Vale, Monkstown, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £595,000.

In Dublin 24, 4 Upper Ballymount Road, a three-bedroom cottage-style house on 0.5 acres (zoned industrial) was sold at auction for £320,000 through Tom Maher.

In Dublin 14, 39 Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham, a three-bedroom semi in need of renovation made £212,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

Also in Dublin 14, 26 Riverside Drive, Castlepark, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is quoting about £340,000.

Dublin 2 and 4

A strong price of £1,025,000 was achieved at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for 80 Northumberland Road, Ballsbridge, a two-storey over garden level period house arranged in three flats.

Sherry FitzGerald fetched over the guide price of £500,000 prior to auction for Herbert Lodge, a four-bedroom detached house on Herbert Avenue, Ballsbridge.

Nearby, a four-bedroom Victorian house at 42 Wellington Road was withdrawn at £670,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne.

In Sandymount, 22 Park Lane, a three-bedroom semi, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £322,000

Also in Sandymount, 23 Wilfield Road, a four-bedroom semi, was sold at Lisney auction for £269,000.

A four-bedroom end of terrace house, Speranza, at 75 Upper Leeson Street, Dublin 4, was sold after auction for a price believed to be over £600,000.

Dublin 6 and 8

In Ranelagh, 109 Moyne Road, a five-bedroom period house in five units, was sold at a Lisney auction for £310,000

In Rathgar, a three-bedroom period house at 2 Brighton Square was withdrawn at £300,000 by Sherry FitzGerald, which sold it later for a higher figure.

Fairfield Cottage, a two-storey two-bedroom semi-detached house at 7C Fairfield Park, Rathgar, was sold at auction for £222,000 through Hugh O'Neill.

Also in Rathgar, a residential/ investment property in six units at 80 Garville Avenue, Rathgar, was withdrawn at £330,000 by Gunne, which is quoting £360,000.

Fairfax, a five-bed semi at 57 Kenilworth Park, was withdrawn at £300,000 by Douglas Newman Good, which sold it later for a higher figure.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 2 Wasdale Park, Terenure, was sold at auction for £265,000 through Douglas Newman Good.

North Dublin

In Castleknock, Dublin 15, a strong price of £350,000 was secured at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for 50 Beech Park Avenue, a cottage on a 0.5-acre site.

In Dublin 7, a four-bedroom semi-detached house on a large corner site at 83 Old Cabra Road, was sold at a Gunne auction for £230,000.

In Glasnevin, 63 The Rise, off Griffith Avenue, was withdrawn at £188,000 by Douglas Newman Good, which sold it later for a higher figure.

In Clontarf, Dublin 3, 15 Charlemont Road, a three-storey Victorian house in five units, was withdrawn and sold later for over £190,000 through Gunne.

In Rush, Co Dublin, a three-bedroom split-level detached house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £295,000.

Wicklow

A four-bedroom Victorian terraced house at 8 Florence Terrace, Bray, was withdrawn at £270,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Newtownmountkennedy, Clohogue, a four-bedroom house on 3.75 acres at Dunran Hill, was sold at auction for £340,000 through Jackson-Stops McCabe.

A detached four-bedroom house at Dunamaise, Dunbur Road, Wicklow town, was withdrawn by T.P. Campion, which is quoting £175,000.

Near Blessington, 15 acres of agricultural land at Horsepasstown, Poulaphouca, Blessington, was withdrawn by J.P. & M. Doyle, which is quoting £150,000.

Provincial

In Co Meath, a bungalow on 14.25 acres at Milestown, Dunboyne, was withdrawn at £300,000 and is under negotiation through Shane Redmond Group.

In Co Galway, Castlehackett House, at Belclare, a 17th-century 32-room property on 105 acres, was withdrawn at £500,000 and is under negotiation trough Martin Tyrrell.

Commercial

A retail investment property with a rental income of £18,000 per annum at 2 Johnson's Place/ South King Street, Dublin 2, was sold at auction for £308,000 by Colliers Jackson-Stops.

Also in Dublin 2, an office building with a mews house at 65 Harcourt Street was withdrawn at £985,000 and is under negotiation through McNally Handy.

In Co Wicklow, Clarke Delahunt secured £335,000 at auction for a two-storey commercial/residential premises on 1.48 acres in Roundwood.

In Rathdrum, The Parnell public house, Main Street, was withdrawn at £410,000 and sold later for a higher price through Clarke Delahunt.

Also in Co Wicklow, Mitchells restaurant and bed and breakfast in Laragh, Glendalough, was withdrawn at £450,000 and is under negotiation through Lisney.

In Co Kildare, a five-acre development site with planning permission for 11 houses was withdrawn at £825,000 and is under negotiation through Colm McEvoy.

In Ashbourne, The Hunters Moon public house/restaurant was withdrawn at £1.4 million by joint agents, John Younge and E.A. Coonan. Highfield House, a cut-stone seven-bedroom bed and breakfast premises at Maudlins Road, Trim, was withdrawn at £550,000 and is under negotiation through Royal Auctioneers.

Elsewhere in Co Meath, Donoghue's residential supermarket, Summerhill, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through joint agents T.E. Potterton and J.S. Fox.

In Kilkenny city, Dohertys pub, on Friary Street, was withdrawn at £550,000 and is under negotiation through J. David Hughes.

In Roscommon, the 16-bedroom Royal Hotel in Boyle, was withdrawn by Gunne, which is quoting £700,000.
