Castlethorn is launching a stylish new phase of 18 apartments at Fernleigh, Castleknock, Dublin 15 this weekend. Prices start at £120,000 (€152,370) for one-bedroom units and £146,950 (€186,590) for two-bedroom ground and first-floor apartments.
Larger two-bedroom units on upper floors are priced from £156,950 (€199,290).
Leahy Property Consultants will be handling sales at show apartments, which go on view this Saturday.
Fernleigh is part of the successful Riverwood development off Carpenterstown Road.
Shopping centres at Carpenterstown and Laurel Lodge are close and residents can commute to the city from nearby Coolmine rail station.
The apartments released this weekend will be ready to move into from December this year to March 2002, and the entire scheme will be completed within 12 months.
In all, there are approximately 80 apartments in the Fernleigh scheme. Castlethorn's reputation for good quality finish and the Castleknock address ensured a quick sell-out when 38 duplex units went on sale at Fernleigh last September.
In this phase, there are three apartment styles to choose from. The development is laid out in three three-storey blocks, each housing six apartments. Balconies off each apartments and access to attractive landscaped roof terraces should prove popular. Kitchen appliances are included in the sale.

Dual-aspect living-cum-diningrooms have Rationel timber doors to a private balcony or terrace.
All internal doors are hardwood veneer and shower doors are included with en suite bathrooms.
A glass block wall separates the kitchen from the living/dining area.
Kitchen units are smart beech Shaker-style and all electrical appliances are included.
Landscaping is particularly good at Fernleigh, with open spaces and very well laid out communal roof gardens. Parking is free.
