Conference to discuss impact of light rail system

TWO upcoming conferences will be of interest to the property industry. Tomorrow at 3.30 p.m. the Irish Property and Facility Managers are holding a conference on the implications for property of the opening of the Luas light rail service in Dublin.

The Speakers will include Aidan O'Hogan of Hamilton Osborne King and Alan Jones, of Steer Davies Gleave, planning consultants to Dublin Transport Initiative. The meeting takes place in UCD Industry Centre in Belfield.

Next month, the European Real Estate Society is to hold a three-day conference on "Property investment in a European and international context" at the Europa Hotel in Belfast. The University of Ulster, which is holding the conference from June 26th to 28th, has assembled a group of international experts who will deal with property related subjects including corporate property, urban redevelopment, research and investment.
