Collen Group pays £7m for Wiggins Teape complex

THE Collen Group has paid in excess of £7 million for the Wiggins Teape complex at East Wall Road, Dublin 3. The company is expected to redevelop the 3.7-acre site for offices. Stephen Cassidy, of Hamilton Osborne King, who handled the sale, originally estimated that the site could accommodate up to 300,000 sq ft of offices on up to five levels. The Collen Group recently completed about 12,000 sq ft of offices and showrooms on an adjoining site. The tenants there include SimulTrans and Ocean.
