Academy Square shows intelligence in its layout and infrastructure

The final phase of apartments at Academy Square in Navan comes to the market this weekend.

The last block of 21 apartments at the scheme will go on sale through agent T&J Gavigan Real Estate Alliance this weekend from its offices in Navan.

Prices start at €310,000 for two-bedroom apartments of 70-72sq m (754sq ft). Two one-bedroom apartments are also on offer. They measure 45sq m (484sq ft) and cost €290,000. Underground car parking is included in this price.

Apartments in this block will have views onto Academy Street with rear views overlooking a central courtyard.

A total of 132 apartments have been built at Academy Square on the former Crannac Furniture site. Developer Malibu Properties and Glenbrier Construction used a curved U-shape for the seven interlinking blocks that comprise the Academy.

This last block will have the same fit-out as previous phases and standard features include kitchens with a full range of electrical appliances, floor and wall tiling and good bathware with high-pressure showers.

One of the seven blocks is intended for office use and a creche is planned, while retail units will be in another block. Residents are within walking distance of the town centre.The schemewill be complete by the end of 2007, says the agent.
