Dublin 3: from €325,000:It's a strong buyers' market and developers are pushing the boat out in an effort to attract deposits. In a new phase at Fairview Close - an Ellen Construction scheme in Dublin 3 - buyers are being offered a complete furniture fit-out for purchases during November and December, a move that might interest cash-strapped first-time buyers.
The scheme is between Richmond Avenue and Fairview Strand and has entrances off each road. Agent Brian Dwyer & Partners is taking bookings from today for 30 units, in a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, own-door duplexes and penthouses. Show units will be open for viewing.

In addition, there are two-bed-plus-study duplexes with separate front doors, costing from €555,000. These come with two south-facing balconies.
Penthouse apartments from 69-88sq m (730-945sq ft), priced from €520,00, include south-west terraces.
The location of Fairview Close is a strong selling point, as it is within walking distance of the city centre and has a pedestrian right-of-way to Fairview Strand and the park.
Architects O'Dwyer & Associates has designed the development around four blocks, with plenty of open space for flow of light. Parking is underground, allowing formal planting on gravelled and paved walkways and lawned areas. One parking space is allocated per apartment.
