A man in his 20s has died following a road collision involving a truck and a cyclist in Dublin.
The incident occurred at the junction of Middle Abbey Street and O’Connell Street, Dublin 1, shortly before 1pm on Wednesday.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The Luas red line was out of service through much of Dublin city centre on Wednesday evening.

Part of one side of O’Connell Street, from Supermac’s down to the quays, was also cordoned off.
Emergency services including gardaí, ambulances and fire engines attended the scene.
The local coroner was notified and arrangements were made for a postmortem.
Gardaí appealed for witnesses to come forward, including those with video footage.
Transport for Ireland said the stretch of the Luas red line between Smithfield and Connolly/The Point was out of use.
The red line remained in service between Tallaght/Saggart and Smithfield1km west of O’Connell Street.
In Cork, a woman in her 70s was seriously injured after she was struck by a bus on Patrick Street.
Gardaí and emergency services were notified at about 2.30pm on Wednesday.
The woman was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí said: “The injured woman was taken to CUH for treatment of serious injuries. The scene was examined and has since reopened to traffic.
