In a way, you have to admire Olly Murs, an X Factorhopeful who has stretched his 15 minutes far enough to record a second album. While the Essex boy's debut blatantly emulated Robbie Williams, these largely easygoing, upbeat pop tunes are more reminiscent of Bruno Mars and Will Young. The former's influence is especially prevalent on the likes of the finger-snapping Dance with Me Tonight, but opening track Heart Skips a Beatis easily the standout, with rap duo Rizzle Kicks adding punch to the prevailing reggae- flavoured melody also pursued on Just Smileand the title track. Even so, it's one of only a handful of tracks that are memorable amid a sea of soundalikes. Like Murs himself, they aren't completely horrible – just lacking in charisma.
