UK Charity Lotteries is taking over the running of its nearest rival to become the biggest charity operator with an annual turnover of more than £75 million sterling, it was announced yesterday.

The Scratch & Win operation was launched in 1995 by American company Interlotto and has so far raised more than £4 million for a wide range of charities.
