Price hike at Independent

Independent News & Media is raising the price of the Saturday edition of the Irish Independent from £1 (€1.27) to £1

Independent News & Media is raising the price of the Saturday edition of the Irish Independent from £1 (€1.27) to £1.10 from tomorrow, and is also increasing the price of the Sunday Independent by 10p to £1.30.

A spokesman for Independent said the price of the Monday to Friday editions of the Irish Independent would remain unchanged at £1, as would the 75p price of the Evening Herald.
