Glanbia plc shareholders approved the sale of the Group's UK liquid milk operations to Express Dairies plc at an extraordinary general meeting in Kilkenny yesterday. The sale is due for completion on June 28th, 1999, subject to expected approval by Express Dairies plc shareholders at an e.g.m. today.
