THE FAST-GROWING off-licence operator, O’Briens Wine, is to open its 30th store at the Blanchardstown Centre in west Dublin. The company will pay €200,000 in rent a year for the 140sq m store which is due to open by the end of the month.

The letting terms are also believed to include a rent-free period of several months. O’Briens imports 1,000 different wine varieties from 55 suppliers in various parts of the world. Only last week O’Briens opened a new south Dublin flagship store of 483sq m (5,198sq ft) at The Park in Carrickmines. CB Richard Ellis acted for O’Briens in Blanchardstown while HWBC and Jones Lang LaSalle represented Green Property, owners of the centre.
