AIL Division One - Dungannon 10 Blackrock 10: Blackrock travelled to Dungannon knowing that anything they salvaged from from Stevenson Park would be a bonus. That it was an injury-time penalty from kicker Mark Bradley which earned the home side the draw will rankle with the visitors.

But Blackrock can hardly be dissatisfied with the outcome against a team that fielded a host of Ulster players, including Bryn Cunningham, Tyrone Howe, Paddy Johns, Jeremy Davidson and Tony McWhirter.

Blackrock played with a stiff wind behind in the first half but were only able to garner 10 points from the advantage. Gary Browne, now close to an average of a try a game, touched down after 25 minutes with Conor Kilroy converting. Kilroy then kicked a penalty following a sharp break from scrumhalf Jim Ferris which really deserved a try.

Strong defending from Blackrock frustrated an increasingly desperate Dungannon, but Ireland winger Tyrone Howe touched down and Bradley converted. However, the outhalf missed an awkward kick in the closing stages before his crucial injury-time kick.
