Bayern Munich will reject any moves by Chelsea to prise German full-back Philipp Lahm from the club.
The Premiership champions are understood to be prepared to offer £10.25million for the 22-year-old, according to reports circulating in German newspaper Bild.
But Munich have warned Jose Mourinho that they are not interested in parting company with another of their star players after losing captain Michael Ballack on a free transfer to the Londoners last month.
Bayern director Karl Hopfner said: "We don't want to sell Philipp Lahm. We still need him."
The player insists he is not thinking any further than beyond Germany's current World Cup campaign, telling Bild: "This is the World Cup and that's the only thing I'm interested in. I'm not thinking about what will happen afterwards."
Meanwhile Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon and coach Mourinho have praised Eidur Gudjohnsen for his efforts during six years at Stamford Bridge.
Gudjohnsen sealed his move to Barcelona on Wednesday when he passed a medical and put pen to paper on a four-year contract at the Nou Camp.
Gudjohnsen's desire to move from Chelsea was fuelled by his lack of first-team opportunities under Mourinho last season.
