Greystones 1 Shelbourne 3:SHELBOURNE CAME back from conceding a shock second-minute goal to book their place in the fourth round of the FAI Ford Cup with victory over a plucky Greystones at the Carlisle Grounds.

Luke Massey sprinted down the right and supplied the perfect ball for unmarked striker John McClurg to sweep Greystones into an early lead.

After 29 minutes Shels drew level when a free from 25 yards by David Cassidy found unmarked defender Andy Boyle who headed home at the far post.

Both sides had chances before Cassidy eventually put Shelbourne in front on 48 minutes, firing home the rebound after John Blake had parried a point-blank effort from Lorcan Fitzgerald.

Blake performed heroics to keep Shels at bay until the 59th minutes when Conan Byrne shot home after good build-up play between Hughes and Cassidy.
