European Champions Cup fixtures confirmed

Leinster will open their inaugural European Rugby Champions Cup at home to Wasps at the RDS on Sunday, October 19th, a day after Munster and Ulster open theirs away from home.

At the AJ Bell Stadium on Saturday October 18th, Munster will face Sale (1pm), while Ulster are due at Welford Road (7.45pm) to take on Leicester on the same day.

All 20 games in rounds one and two, confirmed today, will be broadcast on either BT Sport or Sky Sports.

European champions Toulon will kick off their campaign against Scarlets at Stade Mayol on Sunday 19th, while Aviva Premiership champions Northampton Saints face Jonny Sexton's Racing Metro 92 in Paris on the 18th.

Toulon will travel to Ulster for their second round game at Ravenhill a week later, while Munster host Saracensa and Leinster travel to Castres.

The dates and times for rounds three to six are yet to be confirmed.

Connacht will host La Rochelle at The Sportsground on October 18th (5pm) in the opening round of the Challenge Cup before a trip to Sandy park Stadium to face Exeter Chiefs on the 25th.
