Rugby:Jean Bouilhou will be named as Toulouse captain when the French aristocrats face Leinster this weekend, coach Guy Noves confirmed today, regardless of whether the fit-again Thierry Dusatoir is named in the starting line-up or not.
Dusatoir, Toulouse’s club captain, has only just returned from a month out with an ankle injury but should be available for the Heineken Cup semi-final at the Aviva Stadium. Nevertheless, Noves has indicated he will hand Bouilhou the leadership duties ahead of his fellow flanker.
Dusautoir and Bouilhou were both in the Toulouse backrow last weekend as the Top 14 leaders guaranteed a home semi-final with a thumping 33-0 win over Bourgoin. And although Dusautoir came through that match unscathed, Noves has opted to relieve of the captain's role and allow the French international to focus solely on his own performance.
