Leaders UCD likely to pile on the agony for struggling North Kildare

Students aiming to make it 10 wins in 11 league starts

Eight of Leinster’s first division sides are back in league action tomorrow – bottom club North Kildare, still seeking their first point of the campaign, face a daunting trip to leaders UCD.

The students will expect to make it 10 wins out of 11 – Railway Union the only side to take points off them in November's 2-2 draw.

Hermes can move above Loreto (who have the weekend off) in to second if they get the better of Glenanne in Booterstown, while Railway can increase their four point advantage over fifth-placed Pembroke Wanderers with a win at Park Avenue. Old Alexandra will boost their hopes of regaining a top five position if they defeat Corinthian at Whitechurch.
FIXTURES – Leinster League – Division One – Tomorrow: Hermes v Glenanne, St Andrew's, 1.30; Corinthian v Old Alexandra, Whitechurch, 2.30; UCD v North Kildare, Belfield, 3.0; Railway Union v Pembroke Wanderers, Park Avenue, 3.0.
