The career of the former Reading, Leicester and Wolverhampton Wanderers manager (and Aberdeen player), once touted as a likely successor to (enter name of any major Premiership manager you choose) has taken a rather whacky change in direction recently - he's set up an Internet car-boot sale website where you can browse through "virtual" boots and bid for anything that takes your fancy. Brilliant, eh? Like the wheel, and similarly useful inventions, it falls into the category of "now, why didn't I think of that?".
