Laois SF Final / Arles Kilcruise 0-8 Stradbally 0-7: Arles Kilcruise, the smallest club in the county, made history on Saturday when they claimed their first Laois senior football title.

Stradbally went two points ahead inside five minutes but two points from Ross Munnelly and one from Chris Conway saw Arles ahead by the odd point in five at the interval.

Within a minute of the resumption Colm Begley had fired over the equaliser for Stradbally. A minute later Arles regained the lead with points from Larry Wall and Munnelly.

Stradbally drew level with two points from Colm Kelly with 10 minutes remaining but Arles finished stronger with points from David Conway and Munnelly.
