KILKENNY QUALIFIED for the Leinster minor hurling championship final at the second attempt with a clinical display against Dublin at Parnell Park on Saturday in the semi-final replay.

Henry Shefflin had a storming game for Kilkenny scoring 1-7 in all. By comparison Dublin found the going tough with only Risteard Brennan in midfield showing any sort of resistance as Kilkenny cruised into a 1-8 to 0- 3 lead at the break.

John Hickey added two fine points after the break and Paul Sheehan scored a goal.

Dublin's frustration showed when their captain, Shane Martin, was dismissed for a challenge on Paul Buggy.
