The talented Kerry side qualified for the All Ireland under-21 final with a comprehensive win over Roscommon at Cusack Park, Ennis, on Saturday evening.
Played in a light drizzle, the Kerry side adapted quickly to the conditions, although missed plenty of opportunities. Kerry were in a comfortable 1-8 to 0-4 lead at half-time.
The game was as good as over 14 minutes into the half when Kerry's centre forward Aodan Mac Gearailt, one of the stars of the side, scored Kerry's second goal.
Any hope of a Roscommon revival was quashed when substitute Paul Galvin cut through the Roscommon defence for Kerry's third goal.
