Falling neatly in to the "bizzare or what?" category of football stories is news that a Cardiff City-supporting property developer by the name of Annis Abraham wants to buy striker Kurt Nogan from Preston and then lend him to the Welsh club. Abraham has offered Preston £250,000 for the player who said: "I am flattered at such a suggestion". Maybe, until Abraham demolishes him and builds a block of apartments where he once stood.
