Donegal SFC Final/Gaoth Dobhair 1-5 St Eunan's 0-6: On a perfect day for football, Gaoth Dobhair came good in the final 10 minutes to lift their 14th Donegal title in Ballybofey.
In the end they were very lucky to prevail as the superior-looking St Eunan's led by 0-5 to 0-2 with 10 minutes left.
But poor shooting (13 wides and eight efforts falling short) came back to haunt the Letterkenny side as Gaoth Dobhair struck for what proved to be the winning goal.
Their best player Eamon McGee provided the pass to Stephen Cassidy, who turned onto his left to outwit his marker and from inside the 13-metre line drove to the top corner past goalkeeper Tony Blake.
The sides were level and Gaoth Dobhair pushed on, their captain, James Gallagher, putting them in front from a 45 and adding two more points before the final whistle.
