It proved third time lucky for Castlecomer's Pat Bolger last week. After losing in both the singles and foursomes matchplay finals, Bolger and partner Austin Kelly won the club four-ball championship, beating Michael Doheny and Sean Harty 3 and 2. One down after nine the Bolger Kelly partnership won four holes on the homeward journey to win on the 16th.
